Councillor Quested was a Kaled politician and the biological father of Davros by his personal assistant and secret lover, Lady Calcula. When Colonel Nasgard was killed, Calcula manipulated him into having Major Brogan arrested and executed as a traitor. Afterwards, Quested proposed marriage to Calcula, who turned him down. Quested insisted that Davros had the right to know who his real father was, and in the ensuing argument, he realised how coldly manipulative Calcula was and grabbed her. Davros arrived, pulled out a gun, and when Quested revealed that he was Davros's father, the boy refused to believe it and shot him dead. (BFD: Innocence)
