I have a question RE: Silurian and Sea Devil Weapons... Why is this page entitles "sonic discs"... or, put another way, on what source is this 'best guess' based on?

The weapons are never referred to as such on-screen in The Sea Devils, Warriors of the Deep, or Cold Blood... Nor - to the best of my knowledge - are they referred to as such in the Target novelisations of Doctor Who and The Sea Devils or Warriors of the Deep, both of which I think refer to them simply as "weapons" or "rayguns".

Furthermore, there is never any suggestion - to the best of my knowledge - anywhere that Sea Devil weapons employ sonics in their function (unlike, for example, Ice Warrior weapons).

With all this in mind, surely the "best guess" for the name given to the weapons would be that which the toy labelled them: Either 'Heat Rays' or possibly 'Heat Discs'? Unless there's something from some other spin-off novel or audio (which I admit to being no great expert in) that I am unaware of that suggests that Sea Devil wepinry does indeed employ the use of sonics?
