- In the novelisation, he's said to be a forty-five year old Yorkshireman (though he lacks a Yorkshire accent in the episodes).
- According to The Brilliant Book 2012, a book that contains non-narrative based information; If he was given £10, he would use the weather machine to make it rain on someone his briber did not like. In The Brilliant Book 2012, his name is spelled Robson.
