Remember back in the Library, there were two children who were not materialised and were kept in CAL; the son and daughter of Donna, later adopted by River Song.

Donna's husband was shown to be a real person and not created by Donna's imagination. The son and daughter, Josh and Ella, were kept in CAL as if they were dead.

In the mini-episode, the future Eleven said "spoiler" to his past self when asked if this were his final adventure with River before she goes to the Library. If what the present/past Eleven already knew were true, there is really no point in saying "spoiler" to him. River's death may be an even more positive ending than what we already know, maybe something or someone is waiting in the Library.

Those 2 children were never real. That was the entire reason that Ms. Evangelista took Donna to the park. Donna's husband was one of the visitors to the library who were "saved," but the children were a simulation created by CAL so that the saved people could have children. All of the people who were saved would have gone through simulations like Donnas, where they were matched with one of the other visitors as a spouse, and given Josh and Ella as children. That's why when Donna closed her eyes, the children felt as if they didn't exist. They only existed as long as their programs were running. Future Eleven had to answer spoiler because past Eleven was asking a question about the future. Whether the answer really gave anything away or not, future Eleven couldn't tell him about the future.Icecreamdif talk to me 03:59, January 25, 2012 (UTC)
