- Jo Grant, who supposedly worked for UNIT as a secret agent, complained that contrary to the beliefs of her family and friends, her real life involved much more drudgery than the glamorized life of James Bond. (DW: Frontier in Space)
- When the Tenth Doctor and Martha Jones went to attend Lazarus' experiment, Martha commented that the Doctor looked like James Bond. (DW: The Lazarus Experiment)
- In the Novelisation of "The Tenth Planet" Ben Jackson watches a James Bond film.
- Fans have jokingly speculated that Bond may be a Time Lord as he changes his appearance every few years. Interestingly, Pierce Brosnan's first words as Bond - "You were expecting someone else" - were the same as Colin Baker's as the Sixth Doctor. However, Brosnan's line was from the trailer for "Goldeneye", not the film itself.
