Sarah Brightman and Hot Gossip were a band and dance troupe of the 1980s. Brightman later found substantial success in the late 20th century as a pop/classical/show tunes singer, particularly as the female lead in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera musical play.

John Hart danced to their I Lost my Heart to a Starship Trooper and told Jack Harkness it was 'their song'. Jack denied this. (TW: Exit Wounds)
