Welcome to the Tardis:About Tirenifs

Thanks for your edits at Eleventh Doctor! We hope you'll keep on editing with us. This is a great time to have joined us, because now you can play the Game of Rassilon with us and win cool stuff! Well, okay, badges. That have no monetary value. And that largely only you can see. But still: they're cool!

We only take the best!

We've got a couple of important quirks for a Wikia wiki, so let's get them out of the way first.
British English, please
We generally use British English round these parts, so if you're American, please be sure you set your spell checker to BrEng, and take a gander at our spelling cheat card.
Spoilers aren't cool
We have a strict definition of "spoiler" that you may find a bit unusual. Basically, a spoiler, to us, is anything that comes from a story which has not been released yet. So, even if you've got some info from a BBC press release or official trailer, it basically can't be referenced here. In other words, you gotta wait until the episode has finished its premiere broadcast to start editing about its contents. Please check the spoiler policy for more details.
Other useful stuff
Aside from those two things, we also have some pages that you should probably read when you get a chance, like:

If you're brand new to wiki editing — and we all were, once! —  you probably want to check out these tutorials at Wikipedia, the world's largest wiki:

Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes like this:

Thanks for becoming a member of the TARDIS crew! If you have any questions, see the Help pages, add a question to one of the Forums or ask on my talk page. -- CzechOut (Talk) 19:54, 2011 November 25

Brilliant Book

The Brilliant Book 2012 is not canon because it is OOU. Why would you think it is? MM/Want to talk? 23:39, December 28, 2011 (UTC)

Agreed. --OS25 (talk to me.) 00:40, December 29, 2011 (UTC)

Canon

Our Tardis:Canon policy states that only narratives are canon. This means unless it's presented in a story in the Brilliant Book or anywhere else then it's not canon. --Tangerineduel / talk 15:16, December 29, 2011 (UTC)

X Doctor enemy/ally categories being deleted

Please immediately stop adding "X Doctor enemies" and "X Doctor allies" onto pages. These categories will soon be deleted, so you are wasting your time. Please see this forum thread for more.

Moving pages

Please do not move pages without also moving all the links to that page. Because most people don't want to do that, they usually put a request on my page to perform the move with a bot, which is much, much easier, and much more complete. Also, you should generally be very cautious about moving character pages, particularly those that have been on the wiki for several years, except to add a disambiguation term. Grandma Connolly has already been thoroughly discussed at Forum:Grandma Connolly and should not be moved without further discussion.

Moreover, you should never, ever move a page to a simple noun. There's more than one "Grandma" in the DWU, just as there's more than one nurse, doctor, waitress, mechanic, or <insert simple noun here>.

Until you've been editing here for a bit longer, it'd be best overall if you suggest page moves with the tempalte, {{rename}} rather than performing the moves yourself — especially when the article has been around for several years.

See ya

You're outta here

You are obviously Sinefirt. Your anagram is more feeble than even one of the Master's. You are clearly using this account to circumvent the block of Sinefirt. Our policies disallow the use of multiple accounts by the same person in such a situation, and offer only one punishment: permanent banning. You are now blocked from further editing of this wiki.
