Bowie: An Illustrated Record
Bowie: An Illustrated Record was a book published in 1981, written by Callum Murray and Tony Cerqua. Its pages 87 to 90 stated that most of the songs that would make it onto the album Low were recorded in France, and that Bowie remounted them in West Berlin to mix the existing songs and work on additional material. Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
This book is real, being published in 1981, though is titled David Bowie: An Illustrated Record in the real world despite its front cover only reading Bowie. It is authored by Roy Carr and Charles Shaar Murray in the real world rather than Callum Murray and Tony Cerqua.
