Dragon (biomechanoid)
The Dragon, as it was known, was a biomechanoid creature that stalked the caverns of Iceworld on the planet Svartos. It was put on the planet as the gaoler of the criminal Kane, entrusted with protecting the Dragonfire, the energy source to Kane's prison.
The Dragon formed a trust with the Seventh Doctor, showing him the Ice Gardens, the hologram recording Kane's prison sentence, and the star charts of Proamon.
Bazin and McLuhan were assigned to hunt down the Dragon, but their tracer picked it up as being all around them, and a little girl named Stellar also produced the same signal as the Dragon, but why this was is unclear. They finally killed the Dragon and beheaded it as per Kane's orders, but upon opening it to gain the Dragonfire, an electric burst killed them as part of the biomechanoid's final defence. At a point seemingly prior to its destruction, the Dragon was one of several beings captured by the Rani as part of a menagerie which she sent out into Albert Square to capture the Doctor. (TV: Dimensions in Time)

The Dragon was bipedal with black armour and cables running from its head. It could blow smoke from its nostrils, possessed claws and could fire laser bolts from its eyes. The Dragonfire was kept within its head, which could open up to reveal the crystal. (TV: Dragonfire)
