Flame-of-the-forest was a tree that grew in India.
The Twelfth Doctor could smell it in the Madhya Province in 1825 but erroneously concluded that it was 1839. (COMIC: The Swords of Kali)

Several other plants are sometimes referred to as flame of the forest, but only butea monsperma is native to India.
