A guard was an employee of Euro Sea Gas.
He was on duty at the entrance to the compound when the refinery was on security alert. When Maggie Harris tried to leave the compound, he informed her that no-one was permitted to do so without a written pass from Chief Robson and ordered her back to the residential block. (TV: Fury from the Deep)

- The guard is never actually seen on-screen; he is heard only over a speakerphone at the compound entrance. Though for the animated version of the serial, he is visible inside an office near the entrance.
