Edwards reported on the destruction of the Tate Modern in 2004. He mentioned that no terrorist groups had claimed responsibility for the attack, and that the Mayor of London Ken Livingstone had been found alive and unharmed after concerns he may have been a causality. He provided the commentary for the opening ceremony of the London Olympic Games on 27 July 2012.
