John Hartshorn (6 April 1941-12 May 2003[1]) provided studio sound for the Doctor Who television stories The Horns of Nimon and Shada.

He later provided the same service on EastEnders, Juliet Bravo and the 1988 version of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, featuring Ailsa Berk as Aslan.
