As Ceol is heavily suggested, but not explicitly confirmed, to be Kelsey Hooper, from The Sarah Jane Adventures story Invasion of the Bane, this would implicitly mean that Maria is Maria Jackson. This is further suggested by the fact that Maria subsequently moved to America, as her SJA counterpart also did.
