- Brannart Morphail is a posthuman time travel scientist in The Dancers at the End of Time novel series, which is part of the Michael Moorcock Multiverse.
- A recurring element in the Multiverse is the scientific principle of the "Morphail Effect", in which too much alteration caused by a time traveller from the future in the past results in the time traveller being rejected from the past and flung to a random point in time.
