Olvir was a space pirate.

Biography

Olvir came from a wealthy family, but when his sister caught Lazar's disease, her large medical bills left his family bankrupt. Olvir subsequently turned to piracy. (PROSE: Terminus)

Along with Kari, Olvir mistakenly boarded a ship transporting victims of Lazar's disease to Terminus; his sister had died from the disease. When the ship docked at Terminus, he boarded it in search of Nyssa, who had also caught the disease. (TV: Terminus)

Behind the scenes

• It is unknown what became of Kari and Olvir afterwards; they are last seen on-screen in part four destroying Terminus's control cables to ensure it no longer poses a threat to the Universe, and then having to work out how to get home.
