Robot of Sherwood was the third adventure in The Twelfth Doctor Sourcebook, adapted from the TV story of the same name.

The story follows the television episode, but the characters may decide to make different choices than those of the onscreen Doctor and Clara. Suggestions are given for myths other than Robin Hood for which similar stories could be told.
Further Adventures[[edit] | [edit source]]
In "Who Was Robin Hood?", adventurers may get to the bottom of the image of Robin Hood resembling the Second Doctor. Perhaps the Second Doctor had a human doppleganger, or perhaps something happened to Robin Hood and he needed to fill the role.
In "The Gisbourne Effect", adventurers meet Robin Hood again and face Guy of Gisbourne.

- Grendel may have been a Silurian child.
- Mythical tales of dragon slayers like St George and Sigurd may have their roots in encounters with Silurians or Krillitane.
- The darkening sky that helped Hiawatha bring peace may have been the result of a spaceship.
- The statues around Medusa may have been Weeping Angels.
- Prometheus may have stolen fire from an alien race that visited Mount Olympus, possibly the Pyroviles.
- The Doctor's universe may have its own versions of King Arthur and Morgaine who resemble the versions from Arthur's world.

- The "Who Was Robin Hood?" scenario refers to an Easter Egg in TV: Robot of Sherwood [+]Loading...["Robot of Sherwood (TV story)"], in which a photograph of Patrick Troughton portraying Robin Hood in the 1953 television series Robin Hood was seen in the database of a spaceship.
