Wood and Stone were two time travellers who observed la Ciudad. Stone was a woman wearing a blue dress.
The Administrator thought they didn't like la Ciudad, but he didn't know why, as they wouldn't speak to him in any of their many appearances and always remained expressionless. Sometimes they were accompanied by a third traveller. (PROSE: Elementary, My Dear Sheila)

- Philip Purser-Hallard created Wood and Stone for a pitch for the Manleigh Halt Irregulars inspired by elements of Green Knowe and Sapphire & Steel. They later appeared in Purser-Hallard's Señor 105 book Horizon, or Señor 105 contra las Momias Locas de Odinhotep.[1]
