Teeth and Eating (video game)
Teeth and Eating was a game published on The Sarah Jane Adventures website. It was part of the KS2 Bitesize Science project, where children learned math, English and science by playing video games.
The game was narrated by Anjli Mohindra. As a reward for finishing the game the children got a Judoon mask.
Synopsis[[edit] | [edit source]]
The Sarah Jane Adventures team from CBBC join Bitesize to play a Science teeth and eating activity.
Scenario[[edit] | [edit source]]
Clyde Langer tells jokes while the Judoon are present. His humour doesn't translate well and the Judoon put him into a jail.
Rani Chandra has an idea: Captain Tybo's hungry after his long trip to Earth. If he is fed with delicious food, he might let Clyde go.
To find out what a life form eats someone has to look at its teeth. Mr Smith has a partial Judoon jaw in his data banks. The Explorajaw programme can be used to find out about different kinds of teeth. These teeth give hints about the eating habits of a life form.
After this Tybo has to be fed with healthy food.
End of the game[[edit] | [edit source]]
Rani Chandra and Mr Smith gave Captain Tybo enough food. Tybo releases Clyde Langer.
How to play[[edit] | [edit source]]
The player has to use Mr Smith's Explorajaw programme. There they need to click on a sheep (herbivore), human (omnivore) and lion (carnivore) to find out more about their teeth. Then they have to add the right teeth into the Judoon's jaw. They finds out that the Judoon have got canines, incisors, molars and pre-molars — the teeth of an omnivore, which means the Captain eat meat and vegetables.
The player has to give Captain Tybo the right amount of food by dragging the food with the mouse into his mouth. They have one minute to do so.
This game can't be lost. If the player isn’t able to feed Tybo in one minute they just need to repeat their last task until they finally manage to feed Tybo. Only then the game continues, there is no "game over".
