Tina Palamac
Tina Palamac, (PROSE: Biography — 21, Stalemate!) also known as Twenty Three or Agent 23, was a Senior Special Agent for the Universal Secret Service who often worked with Twenty One.
Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]
Soon after Brent Cleever, later Agent Twenty One, encountered SOFRAM for the first time in 2039, escaping capture thanks only to the aid of a child's toy, S decided that the USS should take over the factory of the Century 21 toy company as a front cover for the Service. At the same time, he hired Tina as a chief designer. (PROSE: Biography — 21)
News from Washington once indicated that sixty agents of the Marine Commando Division had been dispatched to Triton to give aid to Twenty Three, who was searching for the missing Twenty One. (COMIC: Plague of Death)
In December 2046, Tina accompanied Twenty One to Great Britain on his mission to overthrow the Director, the head of a military dictatorship, so that Britain would be permitted to join the World Government. Although they were initially forced to swim four miles to Wales when the World Navy submarine they were aboard was attacked, Tina and Twenty One were able to work with the revolutionaries to uncover a traitor within their midsts and blow up the Director's palace in London by using a toy aircraft loaded with atomic bombs.
Two months later, in February 2047, Tina was with Dai when World President Nikita Bandranaik officially welcomed Britain to the World Government. (COMIC: Down With The Director)
Whilst she was on an assignment in Unity City, Tina was ordered by S to protect Twenty One from attack by a Bereznik assassination squad as he recovered from life-threatening injuries in Kiel Hospital. Arriving at the hospital, Tina was afforded the use of four stretcher guards but they quickly encountered the Bereznik agents. In a gun battle that lasted fifteen seconds, all of the combatants, including Tina, were killed.
After he recovered, Twenty One stopped a plot to kill the World President and the Astran Kaplan before resigning from the USS so that he could seek revenge for Tina's murder outside the bounds of the organisation's policies. (COMIC: Andromeda Or Die) He eventually rejoined (COMIC: The Long Road Back) after he was able to hand Bereznik Secret Police head Colonel Paternik over to police in Berlin. (COMIC: The Bitter Cold Dish)
A different account stated that, in 2069, Tina and Twenty One, assisted by their robotic dog Kingdom, were poised to enter a SOFRAM base on the Moon. (PROSE: Stalemate!)
