No.18 St James' Gardens (PROSE: Beast of Fang Rock [+]Loading...["Beast of Fang Rock (novel)"]) was a house owned by Edward Travers. (TV: The Invasion [+]Loading...["The Invasion (TV story)"])

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

The house was originally owned by Edward Travers' father, Lyndon Travers. Edward inherited in around the late 1930s, and he would raise his family there, including his daughter Anne.

In May 1969, Anne Travers visited the house to find her father was out of town and was letting his colleague Professor Watkins stay there, with his niece Isobel. Nevertheless she found the house empty, and left a note for Watkins to call her when her father returned. (PROSE: Beast of Fang Rock [+]Loading...["Beast of Fang Rock (novel)"])

Some four years later, the Second Doctor, Jamie McCrimmon and Zoe Heriot called on Edward Travers at the house, only to find Isobel Watkins was staying there with her uncle again. (TV: The Invasion [+]Loading...["The Invasion (TV story)"])
