Professor Altazar came to be a part of the Eternity Club. He did not like Bernice Summerfield and was offended by her using a Draconian greeting, which he was surprised to learn that she had learnt from Emperor Jezerak. Altazar joined Grizella's expedition to the City of Parroon and was, like the other men on the trip, attacked by a psychic echo of Sister Lost. Benny tended to him after hearing his cry and healed him with a dermografter, although she accidentally used the pink skin setting on his wound. Before she had done so, he was prepared to die and asked that he be buried in sand and the Ritual of the Sharpened Star performed.
