Davros: Genius or Madman? was a feature in Terry Nation's Dalek Annual 1978 which gave a history of Davros' life and a visual guide to his technological enhancements. Following The Forbidden Planet [+]Loading...["The Forbidden Planet (feature)"], this feature was notable for giving the second ever account of Davros' life after the events of Genesis of the Daleks [+]Loading...["Genesis of the Daleks (TV story)"], with this feature having elements that foreshadowed Destiny of the Daleks [+]Loading...["Destiny of the Daleks (TV story)"].

- Davros was born on the first day of the fourth millennium of the second galaxy calendar. This was the same day the Kaled-Thal war began.

- Legends say that Davros has a secret suspended animation life support system which has kept him alive while buried in the ruins of the Kaled bunker. The possibility of Davros being recovered and brought back to life is posited, something which would occur in TV: Destiny of the Daleks [+]Loading...["Destiny of the Daleks (TV story)"].
