Eric Cartman

Eric Cartman was a fictional character.

Martin owned a poster of the character saying "Respect My Authoritaaah" in his enviro-podule. Trix MacMillan recognised the poster, it giving the impression of Martin's place being a "typical student flat" from Earth. (PROSE: The Tomorrow Windows ^[+]Loading...["The Tomorrow Windows (novel)"])

Although unstated, Eric Cartman is a character from the American animated series South Park. The series is again referenced later in the novel when Private Eye prints a picture of Ken Livingstone with the words "Oh my god - They've killed Kenny!", a reference to the character of Kenny McCormick and the running gag of his deaths.
