The Faceless Ones [+]Loading...["The Faceless Ones (TV story)"], Episode 6

Immediately after parting ways with Ben Jackson and Polly Wright in 1966 Heathrow Airport, Jamie McCrimmon brings the Second Doctor's attention to a TV news report in the corner of the Chameleon Tours office. It reports a large robot attacking a telephone box and advises viewers to stay calm; Jamie asks if they should go and help, but the Doctor coyly replies that he "may have, er, already dealt with that problem".

Suddenly, they are interrupted by a young woman who asks to find the departure lounge, explaining that Sir Charles Summer has agreed for her to take some time out on the Costa Brava. The Doctor does not immediately recognise her and asks if she booked with Chameleon Tours. Unbeknownst to them, a man called Kennedy is watching them from a nearby photo booth - he speaks into a radio confirming he has found the Doctor and is told to "find the police box" next.

Where Are They Now?[[edit] | [edit source]]

Mrs Hayward from Village of the Angels [+]Loading...["Village of the Angels (TV story)"]

Mrs Hayward states that she provided ample warning to everyone in Medderton to leave before the "awful angel statues" took them all, but nobody would listen to an old woman. She explains that everyone finally acknowledged her once the village was plucked out of time and space, but adds that once the Doctor was taken and the village was returned, everyone evacuated en masse, reasoning that if the angels could attack twice, they could again. She concludes by saying that the army has occupied the now-deserted Medderton and she has moved away to a quiet little village with no chance of being attacked by living statues - called Devil's End.
