The forty-seventh instalment of The Daft Dimension was published in DWM 526.

This strip sheds light on the career of the Fourth Doctor's scarf, who had become so popular that he had his own contract. After becoming notoriously difficult to work with, he was replaced in the show by another scarf. Years of struggle followed, with only bit parts as a background scarf on Are You Being Served? on offer, but his career eventually underwent a reassurance when he got to act as Petronella Osgood's scarf in the new series.
