- A Sontarans weakness is the probic vent at the back of the neck.
- A robot has no living parts. It an electronic mechanical machine controlled by a computer.
- The Dalek Paradigm are the purest race of Daleks ever considering all other Daleks inferior.
- Danny Pink was a maths teacher at Coal Hill School.
- Samuel Anderson and Jenna Coleman had previously worked together in the long-running ITV soap Emmerdale.
