George Spenton-Foster (born 11 November 1926 as Thomas George Spenton, died 26 December 1993[1]) directed the Doctor Who television stories Image of the Fendahl and The Ribos Operation.

He also directed episodes of Out of the Unknown (on which he also served as associate producer on the first two seasons) and Blake's 7.

Tom Baker described him as a "lovely, camp old thing".[2]
