- This story was read by Matthew Waterhouse in The Second Doctor Who Audio Annual.
- As the details of the Fifth Doctor's costume had not yet been made public at the time the book in which this story appears was produced, illustrations of the Fifth Doctor accompanying this story are composed with closeups of his face with the rest of his body obscured by shadows or foreground elements. As with all other illustrations of the Fifth Doctor in this book, his face and hairstyle are based on the appearance of Peter Davison from All Creatures Great and Small.
