Warriors' Gate and Beyond was an "extended novelisation" collecting, in print, the direct-to-audio novelisation of the 1981 television story Warriors' Gate, the 2021 exclusive-to-audio story The Kairos Ring, and the original short story The Little Book of Fate. All three stories were written by Stephen Gallagher, who wrote the original TV story and the original novelisation (changed beyond his satisfaction before release), and released by Target Books on 13 July 2023.

Writing and publishing notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- The main story of this anthology, Warriors' Gate, was originally a direct-to-audio novelisation based on the 1981 television serial of the same name. It was written by Steve Gallagher (under the name John Lydecker) based on the original paperwork for his original 1982 novelisation, which had been significantly reworked prior to publication, according to DWM 533. This anthology saw this audio story moved to print, with little to no differences from the audio counterpart.
