The Tomorrow People (audio series)
The Tomorrow People was an audio series produced by Big Finish Productions as a continuation of the 1970s television show The Tomorrow People. The series is of note to this wiki because of both its influence on contemporaneous Big Finish ranges and its two appearances of Slarvians, an alien species first mentioned in a Bernice Summerfield short story.
Starting in 2001, the series ran for five seasons until 2007, after which, due to a breakdown in communication and plans for a Tomorrow People revival TV series, the license to The Tomorrow People was unexpectedly not renewed to Big Finish. Mark Wright and Cavan Scott had been chosen to produce seasons 7 and 8 of the audio series, and the loss led to them producing Iris Wildthyme instead. In tribute to this, The Two Irises namedrops the Sorsons. (REF: The Big Finish Companion: Volume 2)
