Uncanny Valley was the fifth story in the Torchwood - Monthly Range by Big Finish Productions. It was written by David Llewellyn and featured John Barrowman as Jack Harkness.

- Johnny Depp is rumoured to be one of the people visiting the party to which Neil was invited in the south of France in April 2004.
- Jacques Fournier was Neil's driver.
- The annual fundraising ball was held in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City in 2006.
- News reports mention G8, Artemis and Princess Sylvia of the Netherlands.
- Neil's robot duplicate, NJ, uses the phrase "as the actress said to the bishop" following an innuendo.
- NJ can speak Russian and appreciates the art of Francis Bacon.
