Would anyone object terribly strongly to the condensation of "The Sarah Jane Adventures" to "SJA" in category names? Seriously, it's four whole words before you get to the real meat of the category name. Do we really need the formal name of the programme in cat names, especially when the show itself sometimes markets as "SJA"? The bot can make easy work of the changeover, so worry not about the work of making the transition —though it will require several admin deletions at the end of it.

Just to get a sample of how ridiculously long these cat names are, check out:

And so on. I can't think of a single reason why Category:SJA comic stories wouldn't be preferable. It's even more important to condense these cat titles now that the new skin puts some cats at top right of articles. Most SJA cats don't fit on that line, leading to nasty scrunchiness. Can anyone think of a practical reason to keep these long names? CzechOut | 23:48, January 11, 2011 (UTC)

Oh yeah. Ever try looking at these cat names on a phone? Beyond ridiculous. CzechOut | 23:50, January 11, 2011 (UTC)
I agree. There's no need for them to be that long. It's different for Torchwood and Doctor Who because they aren't that long, but with this, it is. --The Thirteenth Doctor 12:13, January 12, 2011 (UTC)
Yep, seems fine.
I think I obsessively created the first categories (and spelled it out in full)...and I think I also went through several pages renaming categories from 'Sarah Jane Adventures' to 'The Sarah Jane Adventures', but shortening it makes more sense, especially with the new skin in mind. --Tangerineduel / talk 14:22, January 18, 2011 (UTC)
