Should it be made necessary for User to put a reason for pages and images to be deleted, so other User know why the page is be considered for deletion. Along with that, should it been seen a vandalism if a User removes a deletion tag that has a reason on it? I think it will stop minor edit wars over the deletion tags, especially when Users refuses to accept that a page they create is being considered for deletion. I think a reason should always be given for deletion; even obvious cases like spam pages could do with someone writing "spam" in the edit log.
Have we actually got a deletion policy? I've just realised I couldn't actually find one by clicking around in the Tardis: prefix. I may just be missing it if it's there, but if it doesn't exist perhaps one should be put in place which contains relevant policies on adding or removing the deletion template. I think the template has existed since near the start of the wiki and it's just an assumed policy sort of thing. I'll get onto writing one shortly (and update the templates with the required info etc). --Tangerineduel 04:47, November 18, 2010 (UTC)

Tardis:Deletion policy have a look, check it out (fix any errors I might have made!) I've also altered the wording of the Template:Proposed deletion just to reflect the policy a bit better. --Tangerineduel 05:53, November 18, 2010 (UTC)
Seem alright. It gets the message across quite easier instead of having to tell User on their talk page. Mini-mitch 16:31, November 18, 2010 (UTC)

{{proposed deletion|example}} You can just write your reason like that and it will appear within the template. No need for it to be in the edit summary.--Skittles the hog 21:28, November 18, 2010 (UTC)
