Howling:The Cracks damaging the Doctor's timeline?

If the Time Crack did eat the Dalek invasion force and the CyberKing in 1851, wouldn't that constitute a disruption of the Doctor's personal timeline, seeing as how he was actually present on those two occasions? (Actually, regarding the CyberKing incident, I'm not entirely convinced that was a victim of the Crack, but, like the Yetis in the London Underground and the Loch Ness Monster swimming up the Thames, was just brushed under the carpet by the government.) Time was probably already so damaged from the exploding TARDIS that disruption to a personal timeline didn't really have an effect. Besides, the cracks were closed, so these events were restored. The Mind 12:09, April 17, 2011 (UTC)
Even before the cracks were closed, it wouldn't effect the Doctor. Rory and the clerics were all also part of the Doctor's personal timeline, but there non existance didn't effect him. There are a lot of episodes where there is some kind of temporal disturbance, but the Doctor isn't effected because he is a Timelord. It is the same idea here. People or events that affected him could be erased from time, but it doesn't effect him because he is a Timelord.Icecreamdif 14:21, April 17, 2011 (UTC)
It would have been a good idea to show us a crack somewhere in the episode, for example, behind the TARDIS after The Doctor and Jackson Lake go off to have Christmas Dinner. We'd then be pondering what it is until we see it again in The Eleventh Hour. That would have been better. Gallifrey102 10:23, April 18, 2011 (UTC)
Had the writers even come up with the cracks yet? In the Next Doctor, when Jackson was saying that the Cyberking would become part of history, the implication seemed to be that it was another example of how Humans always ignore alien invasions. Later, in Flesh and Stone, they decided that it was because of the time cracks, but was that actually the original idea?Icecreamdif 11:31, April 18, 2011 (UTC)
Apparently, this is only what I've heard, Steven Moffat was already writing Season XXXII and asked Russell to insert a line about nobody remembering the March of the Cyberking, as a hint as to what was coming. Gallifrey102 11:36, April 18, 2011 (UTC)

Where exactly did you find that out? Not that I'm calling you a liar, it's probably from an interview with SMT that I haven't seen...
