When it was still around, was the planet Gallifrey located in a specific time zone? To put it another way, from the Doctor's first to eighth incarnations, what era of the universe did his then-present correspond to? "Brain of Morbius" seems to imply that this era was analoguous to Earth's distant future, given the presense of Mehendri Solon, a human from Earth, in Gallifreyan space. I don't think they ever compared it to earth time but at least in this wiki it's called the Rasilon Era. V00D00M0NKY 03:15, April 29, 2011 (UTC)

It was called the Rassilon Era in the TV Movie, and 1999 Earth was called the Humanian Era. No episode ever stated when in history Gallifrey is, because it doesn't matter, as the Timelords can travel through time. However, The Invasion of Time seems to suggest that the Gallifrey stories took place during the same time as the Sontaran-Rutan War, as the Sontarans didn't have time travel in The Two Doctors. However, the Sontaran-Rutan war lasted for a very long time, so that still leaves a very large window of time when the Gallifrey stories could have existed.Icecreamdif 03:24, April 29, 2011 (UTC)
