I've been looking through our Torchwood categories and articles and there seems to be a little bit of confusion over whether we refer to the various Torchwoods as for instance Torchwood Three or Torchwood 3. Is there any in-universe source that shows us one way or the other? (Or any other way to work it out?). --Tangerineduel 15:56, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

Hi!, every reference I've come across so far refers to it as The Children of Earth, (ie one single title, shown over five consecutive nights). There could be the argument that this is not a series as such but one long special with I suspect the titles Day One, Day Two etc. judging by the Official mag preview. So you might not need to refer to Torchwood Three / 3 at all, well for another year anyway! The Librarian 00:36, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
I think the original poster is referring to the team.

Yeah, I was. To clarify do we refer to Torchwood One as that or Torchwood 1, Torchwood 2 or Torchwood Two, Torchwood Three or Torchwood 3 etc? (And are there any in-universe references to confirm one spelling/numeral vs words over another). --Tangerineduel 07:37, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
The Torchwood website and the novel The Twilight Streets use text.--Nyktimos 20:24, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
