Part 1
It's the Tenth Doctor's final journey – but his psychotic nemesis the Master has been reborn, on Christmas Eve. With both determined to cheat death, the battle ranges from the wastelands of London to the mysterious Immortality Gate, while the alien Ood warn of an even greater danger approaching, as a terrible shadow falls across the entire Universe.
David Tennant stars as the Tenth Doctor and guest stars include John Simm, Bernard Cribbins, Catherine Tate, Timothy Dalton, David Harewood and June Whitfield.

Notice aswell that it says wastelands of London, any idea why London would be a wasteland? On the commentaries for WOM R.T.D an David T. were talking about when The Doctor chased The Master across the wastleand.Saxon 3 16:13, November 23, 2009 (UTC)
The way the synopsis is worded makes it seem like the Immortality Gate is a location beyond the Doctor or the Master's control, could be a time lord construction ensuring the survival of the Time Lord race (hence immortal).--Revanvolatrelundar 16:16, November 23, 2009 (UTC)
Originally i thought the Master was building the immortality gate, but by the looks of it i think it is either the timelords or the thing or person behind the sound of drums. Another thing, The Master is trying to avoid his death also, could be a coincidence but i think whatever the darkness shadow over creation is, it wants time lords.Saxon 3 16:30, November 25, 2009 (UTC)
"while the alien Ood warn of an even greater danger approaching, as a terrible shadow falls across the entire Universe." You're all overlooking that. An ever greater danger, a terrible shadow? That could be the thing that is causing the drumming, the one who kill knock four times. The summary makes this apprraoching threat sound very menacing, too! If you look at it closely, the drumming is a sign or warning of this danger that the Ood can sense approaching. Delton Menace 01:43, December 2, 2009 (UTC)
