Hi! I've just watched the BBC DVD release of Series 5 Volume 1 with the DW Confidential Dalek feature.
Edward Thomas - Production Designer says that the weapon capabilities [of the new Daleks] is enhanced. Each of the series of flaps down the back of the Dalek comes out and the laser gun disappears and a new weapon can come up and take its place. "We'll see it very soon!" So anyone want to do something with this (or not) ....can't wait to see it myself I thought the 360 rotation was cool enough the first time! The Librarian 19:19, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

I'm not sure what effect this had but it appears to have been untrue in any case as no such feature was revealed in a time period I would call "very soon".----Skittles the hog--Talk 21:07, June 1, 2011 (UTC)
