Being someone that's been buying the Big Finish plays along with the DVDs in chronological order to listen to them in sequence with the show, the removal of these pages has been more than discouraging for me.

If putting them up as they were before isn't an option then would it be possible for timelines to be allowed depending on what media they represent? An example would be one timeline including the audio plays in sequence with television serials , and another containing Virgin New Adventures, and another containing comics. This way the contradictions could be avoided when the non-television medums might contradict one another.

And since anyone reading those timelines and used them as a guideline most likely accepted that it wasn't set in stone or the gospel anyway, were they really doing any actual harm? The preceding unsigned comment was added by 166.147.104.156 (talk).

See Forum:Timey-wimey detector, the timeline pages have been rewritten there. --Tangerineduel / talk 14:19, June 7, 2012 (UTC)

I did that and those timelines are nowhere near what the previous pages were. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 166.147.104.157 (talk).

We decided through a fairly long discussion that rewriting and presenting the pages as they are now would be the most accurate way to 'show our working' and how we came to conclusions of placement of stories. While the pages may appear to be less ordered than the previous pages they are more accurate due to the new pages requiring reasoning as to why stories are placed where they are.
The previous timeline pages were largely based on the Doctor Who Reference Guide and the Doctor Who - The Complete Adventures guides, you could consult those websites if you are seeking a list similar to what was on the timeline pages previously. --Tangerineduel / talk 15:30, June 8, 2012 (UTC)
