I think it is time we finally got round to sorting out the Time Field article. It should in fact be three separate articles.

  1. Crack - This article should be about the shape of the crack itself, instances of it etc and the history of how the cracks were opened and closed.
  2. Time Field - This is the area which the energy expands allowing the Time Energy to move out and erase people.
  3. Time Energy - The actual energy which erases things from the universe. Described as the "fire at the end of the universe".

The main argument for the split is the fact that each have been given different names and that after the cracks were stopped and removed, the time energy would still exist, so is a different thing. Thoughts? Objections? --The Thirteenth Doctor 11:51, September 15, 2010 (UTC)

Big old objection. Where you gettin' these definitions from? And do we really know enough about this subject yet to write with any hard definition? Isn't series 6 supposed to give us more info about all this?

The Time Field article doesn't appear to be overspilling with information, it doesn't seem to be crying out for breaking into different articles.
We still don't have all the information about the Time Field/Cracks, which is, as CzechOut says what Series 6 is supposed to inform us about.
I don't think we've got enough information to split between three articles. --Tangerineduel / talk 14:40, March 16, 2011 (UTC)
