Forum:The series Torchwood now at Torchwood (TV series)
If this thread's title doesn't specify it's spoilery, don't bring any up.
Pursuant to discussion at forum:New Torchwood Team, it was realised that using Torchwood as the title of the real world page on the television series was a violation of disambiguation policy. Therefore, all links have been changed to Torchwood (TV series), to come in line with the similar K9 (TV series), or the many instances of a story title having the name of an element in the DWU, like Castrovalva (TV story).
This then frees up "Torchwood" as a name for the in-universe subject. The exact dimensions of the thing to which "Torchwood" should refer are currently under discussion at the forum thread mentioned above. However, there's no doubt that the television series page should be at Torchwood (TV series), so this move is independent of how the page at "Torchwood" gets used.
"Torchwood" will at least initially be a redirect to Torchwood Institute, just to have somewhere to stick it. But, again, the matter of what to do with the page called "Torchwood" hasn't yet been finally settled.
