Do we have any in-universe proof that the Man with the Rosette from PROSE: The Adventuress of Henrietta Street is the Master? Or is this conclusion — currently on display as the lead of our article on the topic — from out-of-universe sources?

It's a book by Lawrence Miles.
It's inferred that it's the Master.
There's enough information in the story to work out it's the Master, this section from the article:
The Man later decided to meet the Doctor. As they stood on a hill, they talked about the state of the universe without Gallifrey in it. The Man told the Doctor that he would not fight him because there were only four Time Lords left in existence. He told the Doctor that Sabbath and his kind were now the future of the universe and quietly left.
Is mostly how it appears in the novel (I don't have it to hand), but, Gallifrey and Time Lords aren't mentioned, but are mentioned obliquely. --Tangerineduel / talk 15:36, January 8, 2012 (UTC)
