At least one pair of works, AUDIO: Asylum and PROSE: Asylum share the same name. How do you deal with a discontinuity page for both of them? 94.6.86.58 10:26, July 12, 2011 (UTC)

Well, you picked an unfortunate example, because the main pages themselves aren't properly handled at the present time. These pages should be at Asylum (novel) and Asylum (audio story). Once those names are changed, and everything is properly redirected, then the discontinuity pages can be based upon the proper names, without confusion. Part of the reason that the discontinuity pages for things other than TV stalled a bit was because we needed to sort out naming conventions. {{discontinuity}} and other related templates depend upon the same naming convention being in place. It works well with the television stories because, when disambiguation is required, it's always in the format of Story Name (TV story). This hasn't been the case with other media, and, at least from a technical standpoint, that's kinda gettin' in the way of discontinuity page creation.
The other big thing slowin' us up on that front is, of course, that fewer people are interested in the discontinuity of stories in other media.
If that wasn't specific enough an answer for you — that is, if you need to know the details of how to start a discontinuity page — please let me know and I'll go over those details.
