Okay, I'm going back a decade, right back to Episode one of the reboot, with Christopher Eccleston as The Ninth Doctor... Rose, with the living plastic, window shop dummies, and Mickey's old VW Beetle (not the mini it is later on.) Now, the nitpick, is about that wheelie bin. Watch the scene carefully - as Rose and Mickey arrive, a guy is bringing out a wheelie bin, in the middle of the day... and giving odd looks to the pair. a bin that we know, is empty. And there's no other bins out... so why was he bringing it out? And... here's another: The Nestene, can they just animate any plastic object? Or does it have to create it? That would explain window shop dummies with guns - it's been there ages, so It's had time to...wait, how did it get it's own products into those shops then?

Theory: There are humans involved with the Nestene Consciousness' scheme. It explains how it got where it did, and the London Eye's part as the signal thingy. Humans that spread out the dummies, replacing the ones inside the shop which are normal plastic, with ones that have guns in the arms. They (the humans) don't necessarily have to know what they're doing/who they're helping etc. The Nestene has kept an eye out for the Doctor and any companions, and has eyes - human eyes that is - on those who know about the Doctor. And one of them is alerted to Rose... and it sees an opportunity. So the human master rolls out something that is normally inconspicuous, yet isn't when it's placed like it normally is but at the completely wrong time of day while empty... a living plastic wheelie bin, to entice the suspicious mickey smith into, investigating... and being captured. Out of sight (and off camera), the human lets the plastic mickey out of the house where it was formed, then takes Mickey to the lair.

It's plausible, look at all those times humans were involved as dupes or voluntarily, and every degree between. The Adipose and Miss Foster, though that's debatable. Mr Genius with his Atmos devices, for the sontarans. AlexMcpherson 11:42, October 19, 2014 (UTC)

The guy who brought out the wheelie bin could have just been another nestene duplicate. As could all the factory workers involved in producing the dummies with guns. The first story to feature the autons (Spearhead From Space) showed this (I think). 213.249.213.20talk to me 15:53, October 19, 2014 (UTC)
