Someone brought this to my attention on the Graske talk page. Should the history on species pages really focus on the events of an individual of that species, or should it be about the history of the species in general. For example, the Veil. Would we list all the events that Androvax went through on that page, or should the history of that simply concern the fact that they were killed, some escaped and that caused Androvax to go on a destruction cruise, later finding they were alive and rescuing them. Surely it just ends up duplicating the same information if we simply list the same histories. The Thirteenth Doctor 18:55, October 26, 2010 (UTC)
- The species articles should be about the species in general, not individuals.
- You should be able to read the Veil article and get an understanding of the species and then follow individual articles to get more detailed information on said individual or subject or whatever. --Tangerineduel 13:14, October 27, 2010 (UTC)
- I have streamlined the Veil article so now the history section is related to the species. Veil is a hard one though as Androvax is key in their history.--Skittles the hog 14:17, October 31, 2010 (UTC)
