Alice Guppy kept a diary during the period in which she was recruited to the Torchwood Institute.
In the diary, she documented the dates of 13 to 15 September 1898. During this time, she left prison, signed her employment contract, met Emily Holroyd, and joined Torchwood Cardiff.
