Beatrix Lehmann (1 July 1903-31 July 1979[1]) played Professor Amelia Rumford in the Doctor Who television story The Stones of Blood.

With over forty credits ranging from 1935-1979, she appeared on television shows such as Out of the Unknown (in the episode "The Prophet", which featured an earlier version of the White Robots, which would later be used in The Mind Robber), Paul Temple, Z-Cars and Dr. Finlay's Casebook.
According to John Leeson, she gave him a gift of a camera as a way of thanks for taking photographs of her during the shooting of The Stones of Blood. (DCOM: Getting Blood from the Stones)
