The Bernard Wilkie was a function of the TARDIS and could be found as a handle on the console at least in the standard retro-TARDIS design. (TV: Twice Upon a Time)

- It is unclear exactly what this function does, but based on the meaning of the words "bernard" and "wilkie", it can be assumed that it offers the TARDIS "hard resolute protection".
- The handle has a black-white label above it which says the name, which was a clever way by the Doctor Who crew to throw in a reference to 1960s/1970s visual effects designer Bernard Wilkie.
