Blaise
From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Blaise was the Master's predecessor as Merlin of Camelot. He served under King Arthur's predecessor and father, King Uther. Arthur remembered him as a keen and loyal advisor to his father, who preempted discord in the court instead of stoking it as the Master did. He died at the same time as Uther, so that Arthur had to choose The Master upon his coronation. (PROSE: The Creation of Camelot)
Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
In Robert de Boron's account of Arthurian legend, Blaise was the priest who presided over Merlin's birth.
